    Thread of mental jibber jabber.

    Gents and laydeeeees,

    How's it gaaan?

Not here to make a point here just wanted to make a statement of just how happy my brain is right now with all things black & white.

Off the field, weve got a continuation of new board room additions of top quality executives.

Confirmation the cathedral on the hill is our home for the future & the top brass are committed to expanding the ground to accommodate the influx of fans.

Training facilities being improved and commitment to delivering a new complex, with planning and research well under way.

Top tier sponsorship partners in negotiation. Elite kit manufacturers being sounded out to replace the shocking performance of Castore. The execs are determined to end the last few miserable, soul sucking, leeching contracts set up by the previous regime.

    On the pitch

We have the best defense in the Premier league. We've shipped only 9 goals in 10 matches, 3 of which were scored by Man City (who we matched scoring 3).

Eddie Howe is managing to get a tune out of the squad dross such as Murphy, Miggy, Longstaff.

We HAVE an identity. Whilst Rafa was slated by all and sundry, many on here, genuine students of the game appreciated the Spaniards pragmatic style. I absolutely respected Rafa's tactically brilliance however Eddie Howe's tactics next level.

The unity brings a joy to my heart which I've not felt since experiencing Feyenoord, Inter Milan away as a much younger man.

5 games to go til the break. I recon we'll take another 9-12 points from this matches on current form.

Looking forward to January. I firmly believe that with all the junior player signings and ongoing negotiations for the likes of the young Brazilian lad from Vasco we'll go again for 1 or 2 top top quality players. A diaby for example.

In short, it's a Geordie Belta!

Walking along, singing a song, basking in a geordie wonderland 💪🏻

Good post Raga. Just praying Wilson doesn't get injured before the world cup as then we're down to Chris Wood as our only fit striker and we might struggle to get wins. We're in a very healthy position though on and off the pitch

Yeah well be important to keep him fit.

Does anyone wise think Chris Wood will go out on loan or be sold in January this another sort bright in?

Football manager me would be it's not sure Howe's style.

Isak will be back in in the squad so it's unlikely. Glad we didn't get Nunes in the end, much hair with Isak.

I do think we will go again in the market. Maybe a player like Diaby would be willing to join seeing how bad Leverkusen are doing.

Thanks for the nice comments lads. I'm pleased to be part of this community here on the board.

Following on from Ragatino’s comment, reports here that we’ve offered €35 million for 18 year old Andrey Santos from Vasco. He’s their leading prospect (Vasco did an ‘Ashley’ and got relegated but are set to go straight back up). He’s an 18 year old midfielder - haven’t seen him play.
Anyone seen any news there on this?
