    Bamford

Has anybody got a clue how he's doing, is he anywhere fit, is he likely to return this season, what his injury is, or have we seen the last of him. If so, is early retirement his only option, or maybe that's a bit drastic.

Honestly for me whether he gets back or not he is done as a PL footballer, guy has basically been injured for 2 years, comes back for 45 minutes and is injured again, we cannot rely on him anymore.

Best bet now is he gets fit, plays some games and we can sell him in the summer, love the guy as a professional and think he offers a lot as a player but can't keep pinning our season on guys like him being fit, it ruined last season and its already causing massive issues this year.

I suspect that even on a bad day (and he's has a few!) Bamford could make most of the Bumley 1st team look like rank amateurs. Just get back in the Championship box your bunch deserve to be in Alf and leave the big boys to work out who belongs to be there, including LUFC

Of the 77 goals LUFC scored in the 2019/20 season, Bamford got 16, and in the first season back in the premiership, 17 of the 62.

WHAT THE F00K DOES A PLAYER HAVE TO DO TO GET YOU SH1Ts to ACKNOWLEDGE THE CONTRIBUTION HE HAS MADE TO US BEING IN THE PL?

He might not be part of what we have going forward, but he sure as hell has been a 100% part of where we are and what we might (big f00king might), go forward with. As much as most players who are revered, why is he so different?

About as much as the whole of the Bumley squad, so kind of what you warrant. Enjoy the next season where you belong (or maybe Div 1, you never know).

Bamford in the first season back was peak Bamford and if he could maintain that level of fitness and performance then I think we would all be happy. However, that was also a great Bielsa season with lots of chances coming his way.

Current Bamford can’t get fit and seems to miss big chances in big games. With our squad and where we are at then we really need peak Bamford - if you delve into his stats and the number of chances per goal etc that makes interesting reading.

Rodrigo’s stats this season are good but also if you look at them in more depth in the context of games suggest whilst he can finish he may not always get involved in the right areas.

If he carries on at his current scoring rate he will score over 20 this season.
