    France v Morocco

Anyone watching this? Quite enjoying it so far. Game only seemed to settle down once Saiss got subbed (why he was selected given his injury was always a risk) and Morocco reverted to their normal formation but France were 1-O up by then. France have to be favourites and have come close a couple of times but must say Morocco have also played some lovely football at times and certainly bossed the last ten minutes or so and would have levelled through El Yamiq's bicycle kick had it not been for Lloris. Still think France will win as they are so quick to pounce on mistakes and break but Morocco coming into it more before the break. Entertaining stuff.

Maybe not a surprise to see France win but the 2-0 scoreline doesn't tell the whole story and this was not a straightforward easy win for them. Hats off to Morocco who fought hard all the way and played some lovely football at times doing so. Always nice in these big competitions to see an underdog do well and challenge the big boys and we've seen a few examples of this in Qatar.

Morocco have some good players and could have taken the game but for a bit of luck, be an interesting final, I can’t call it.
