True legend on the pitch and top ambassador for football off it , I was lucky to see him in action in the 66 World Cup in the famous game at Goodison v Portugal who had Eusebio. Portugal had to kick lumps off him to stop him that night. I was 10 yrs old and will never forget it , RIP Pele

I was fortunate to see him play for Santos against Sheffield Wednesday in an afternoon weekday in 1972.
It was played in the afternoon due to the power cuts at the time.
Santos won 2-0 in front of over 37,000 fans.

I was 14 at the time and remember being stood near the back of the Kop. Don’t remember anything about the game apart from actually being there with my Dad.
