    Rebecca Welch - Female Ref

    Appointed to referee our match at Chesterfield. The match at Scarborough at the weekend was suspended for over 30 minutes due to obscene comments of a
    s exist nature aimed at the female assistant referee.

    Wonder whether the 2,000 West Brom fans will behave and what will be the song choice?

    I've got little interest in it to be honest. I don't want any interruptions to a good run. I'm chuffed to bits that we carried on after the world cup break but I would rather we totally concentrate on the league and keep the games coming.

    Seriously, though, I hope she has a good game, I’ve no problems with female refs if they’re good enough; there’s plenty of poor male referees so any good ones would be welcomed, whichever gender.
