Sheff Utd under transfer embargo

Under article 53.2.2 they have failed to make monthly payments for a player they are buying or on loan so therefore now have a transfer embargo imposed.

Is this the reason their current owner The Chief, has put the club up for sale because he can’t afford to run it?

Shame really as they are doing really well. Would like to see them back in the Prem and fly the flag for South Yorkshire.
