We don’t seem attractive to a decent owner
Why do we think this is?
We had a good stint in the Prem wouldnt cost too much to turn round (comparatively)

If Lai was prepared to sell for a reasonable price, we may well see a takeover but the price that he reportedly wants is totally unrealistic. It looks like he is not prepared to lose much money on the club, which makes it all very worrying.

Surely the current league position of Sheffield is a major investment enticement.
However, I agree that in recent years we have not been perceived as an ‘attractive’ Club, albeit cautiously managed by JP to derive an income and manipulate a successful sale.
I cannot see any change in our standing, given Lai’s purchase price, unless his hand is forced by his bankers.
If we don’t get promoted I would bet the club will go into administration after Lai pockets the money from mass player sales. Let’s just hope he has a last breathe and ends up at the Pearlie gates but it definitely won’t be at the Astle gates!
Do one Lai you Chinese son of a b itch!
While it is steeped in history that doesn't count for anything these days....founding member or not.
Location, Location, location.....Black Country doesn't sound to appealing and been the highest ground in England isn't appealing either.
Sheffield is a famous enough name from the steel days so is appealing I guess.
