Hibs had most of the possession in the first half but couldn’t find a way through the East Fife defence shots going narrowly past and it wasn’t until Hibs got a penalty at the tail end of the first half Eilidh Adams converted from the penalty spot to put Hibs 1-0 up. Unfortunately Rachel Boyle received a knock which saw her stretchered off lets hope it’s not serious.

Mcalonie was having a really good game and her twists and turns were causing the East Fife defence problems. Hibs started the second half better and Tweedie struck the bar shortly into the second half. Tweedie got herself number 2 shortly afterwards which had a bit of luck attached and her shot seemed to come off an East Fife player and went over the East Fife keeper Hibs 2 East Fife 0.

Number three came from a Hinds assist her cross found Lockwood who headed the ball across to Kirsty Morrison who struck the ball into the back of the net Hibs 3 East Fife 0
Mcalonie was a provider of number four and after some great work found Kirkwood who struck the ball home for number four Hibs 4 East Fife 0

The support was fantastic with the singing and rattles which made for a good atmosphere and would like to see more support along to join the singing section. Woman of the match today Mcalonie she must have covered every blade of grass. Fingers and toes crossed Rachel is ok.
