Muric substitution- he wasn’t well apparently !!

So why did he start the game. ? You know it, I know it, he was pulled because of his cock- up. VK had seen enough ,in a game where he couldn’t afford to give any more goals away. Muric took the wrong option which cost the Clarets dearly. We saw the ruthless side of VK last night, and it probably won’t be the last time either. If nothing else, it will give BPF a couple of games to show VK and the rest of us, what he is capable of. At least we won’t get the jitters every time he’s near the ball.

I suspect the 'illness' was in the head. He was no doubt gutted at conceeding a goal like that. VK will have looked at him and thought 'His head is not in this game' and took him off. One more slight error and the 'Fickle Fans' would have been ready with the boos which could have a much longer effect on the lad.
