Yet another match to be rearranged

Just noticed that our next to last home match of the season is on the same day that Forest host Man U.
Their match is on Sky at 17:30.
Nothing on the Notts site but this will obviously either be on Friday night (c**p) or Sunday afternoon (also c**p)
If it’s on the Friday it will give an advantage to Wrexham because they will have a target to aim at.
Another casualty of that god called TV and crap planning by the National League / Football League / Premier League.
Both of those dates are difficult for me and there is a chance that this will be yet another game that I will be forced to miss. Seriously thinking that I may not renew my season ticket next year.
Does anyone know if the coordination is better between the FL and the PL in terms of dates not clashing for clubs from the same city.

Not sure us playing of a Friday gives Wrexham an advantage. I'd say they'd be under even more pressure if they needed to win and therefore make more mistakes etc.

When Forest were last in the PL I don't remember games clashing when we were FL club, certainly not as much as they do now.

I don't know the complexities of stewarding, turnstile operators etc, but would it be that difficult for us to kick off at 12:30 on the Saturday?

That would give a full 3 hours between our game finishing and the scum kicking off.

Man Utd’s comprehensive win tonight against Real Betis, goes a long way to solve this situation.
Unless they collapse next week in Seville, United will progress to the EL quarter finals.
One of the legs is scheduled for Thursday 13th April, meaning that the game at the City Ground will now take place on the Sunday, leaving the Saturday free for us!

This is how I understand it also. If a side is playing in the Europa League, they automatically get the right to play on Sunday.

Thought this thread would be about tomorrow night's match. People think it'll be on?

Down to (possibly) -5 tonight, which I'd say is about the limit of our frost covers, if they've been on. Although with a covering of snow on them, there might be a little bit more protection.

    No pitch inspection planned, currently:

We got that Gateshead game on and that’s when it was -3 or -4 all day and at kick-off. Gets that cold tonight but with the covers down and then a whole day of above freezing temps before a late kick-off it’ll probably be fine I reckon.
