I remain of the opinion that we will finish no higher than 5th.
Our optimum schedule is to play 1 match every 7 days. In April we play 7 matches in 29 days. This season's trend continued last Saturday. Whenever we play a sequence of Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday fixtures we always lose the 2nd or 3rd match in that sequence, no matter what the quality of the opposition is and no matter that such opposition is on the same schedule of fixtures as us.
Furthermore, in those 7 matches the quality of the opposition is high. Although there are some exceptions our record against the current other 7 of the top 8 is not very good at all.
A 5th place finish would be a miracle from what is certainly a bottom quarter budget, I'm guessing 20th / 21st.

Result
Bradford City 3 - 2 Grimsby Town
The winning goal was scored in the 81st minute by Andy Cook.
The Stevenage game in hand on us is :-
Swindon Town v Stevenage, Tuesday 25th April
It will be the 44th League Two game of the season for both teams.
Barrow may play a part in our season on the last day.
Barrow v Stevenage, Monday 8th May
We had all 5 substitutes on by the 67th minute, which leaves us a bit vulnerable to someone getting injured and us having less than 11 players on the pitch.
The 5 substitutes were Barclay, Gibson, Garner, Edmondson and Robinson.

We shall be in the Play-Offs. Which League Two finishing position most often supplies the Play-Off Final winner?
This is the list over the last 10 years :-
4th twice
5th twice
6th twice
7th 4 times
Stockport County, Bradford City, Salford City & Mansfield Town
I am not at all confident that we can win a Play-Off competition that has any 3 of those teams in it.
If Mansfield get promoted my life will be made unbearable
We have done OK against Bradford City and Salford City this season. In a Play-off semi-final match at Bradford City with an attendance of almost 20,000 we would have no chance of being awarded a penalty, but if one of our defenders so much as farted Bradford City would be awarded a penalty.
In 270 minutes against Stockport County and Mansfield Town we have not scored and we have conceded 6 goals.
