I stated after the Stoke game

that the two goals Molumby scored were exactly the sort of goals Asante should be scoring. In the vein of Phillips or Odemwingie. Poaching goals in the six yard box. I was delighted to see him do exactly that last night, nipping in and a cheeky back heel to give us the lead. Hope there are more like that from him to come.

Let's hope so! I really quite like Asante, not only for his work rate and attitude but how he comes across in interviews. He has taken quite a step up coming into the Championship though and is clearly still learning but I reckon he will only improve and has goals in him.

He'll do, as John Wayne would have said.

Spot on Joy buddy. Desire and attitude is so important and being prepared to chase apparent ‘lost causes’ reaps rewards.
Let’s hope he (and his agent!) are not tempted and enticed to go elsewhere.
