    Conor Coventry

If the club want him and West Ham and himself agree then I wouldn’t mind him back next season tbh, steady start for him but I think he’d be able to step up

Or can we see and fetch a better layer in?

    Thanks for everything Conor

I'm hoping we can do better to be honest. He was a steady enough influence but he made a lot of basic errors and mis placed a lot of passes. Or maybe I'm being harsh because he wasn't Barlaser mark 2? Either way I'd like to see us at least try to show a bit more ambition.

He had big boots to fill following Barlaser. He was still a part of us staying up.

Let’s see what the options are.

He filled a hole and came in at a time when the January transfer market is a bit of a minefield for finding players.so fair play to him for his efforts .but I think with a bit more time we can procure someone a bit better in that crucial position.

I know it's personal opinion and all that jazz but I wasn't particularly impressed by him. Too many anonymous games

Not for me. Thought he lacked pace and was nowhere to be seen when the going got tough. That position needs to be filled by a young talent such as Barlaser (unlikely) or a seasoned Championship player who may be in his last year or so.

One potential young talent is Connor from Barnsley who had a great game yesterday until his nightmare miss! Maybe worth a shout but knowing Barnsley, they'll probably be looking for much more than we can afford.

Just shows the difference of opinion of us all because for me he was our best loan player. UTM

    Maybe

But that could be a low bar to jump over

I think part of the problem was that MT said he was a replacement for Barlaser when we signed him and many of us expected him to be a similar type of player.
He certainly wasn't that and he was workmanlike rather than skilful and his range of passing was quite limited. He had a definite tendency to look for the easy option.
He did improve in the last few games and was in the team on merit but personally I think we're going to need someone better next season.
