    Ben Mee

Great to see that the Brentford fans have appreciated Ben Mee's contribution this season by making him Supporters' Player of the Season.
Proves that he made the right move, particularly with some of the stick he took on here for leaving at the end of his contract.

There was more than one saying he wasn't good enough for the PL anymore. I have to be honest, I wasn't one of them. There were even suggestions he was faking his injury at the back end of the season, not really sure why but some posters had a real down on him.

He had no interest in our relegation dogfight. He's history and thankfully we have improved under VK and moved on.

Tarkowski looks the real deal with Everton, Mee has just had a great season with Brentford, how on earth Garlick sleepwalked into letting those two leave on frees is beyond my imagination.

I say credit to Ben for having a good season , he was exposed here with a slow midfield that couldn’t cope with the opposition driving its bus through it , hence he’d step out but did t have the pace to catch - recover.

With a younger quick centre back with him still. A good player - the heart of a lion while he was here that’s for sure

For no logical reason whatsoever he really got on my tits when he was "injured" and "unavailable for selection" during the relegation dogfight's ultimate games.

I lost respect for Mee and it's never going to come back, I'm glad he's a happy Bee though, Foster will have him on toast next season.

Going over old ground I know but add Pope going for a pittance as well and we let those three go for about half of what we got for Chris Wood. Bizarre, it doesn't make sense.

Which ever way you look at it sinkov it was really bloody bad business. I'm glad Mr Pace saw the light.
