    O/T Rotherham sculpture, the one I thought looked like a coat stand

    Can’t remember who or title of threads so I’ve started another one (merge if you found original)

    I sat right next to it while watching the parades at Armed Forces Day in town last week and I think it is brilliant - Made in Rotherham by young people of Rotherham showing their engineering skills meeting local heritage and art.

    There is enough negativity about feckless young people of Rotherham but these industrious young uns have really achieved something here.

    Didn’t realise it was made by youngsters but apparently it was inspired by the camelia flower at Wentworth

    I work directly with The Apprentices at MTL in Brinsworth and they are nothing short of brilliant - Times have certainly moved on since I did my Engineering Apprenticeship in the early 90s.

    We made Drill Drifts and cleaned the fash out of machines.
