    Travis to millwall?

Apparently he is wanted by millwall.
He was pretty poor last season but very good the season before.
I would hold out for 2.5 million minimum.
You don't just suddenly turn bad overnight.

Any player that will be brought in this summer will have to be funded by player sales as we have £0 to spend. Nothing left in the coffers.
The new norewigen lad is a holding midfielder. Who can likely play in Travis position.
We can get £2m for him.
Buckley & Wharton are miles better. As will JRC. Personally Travis went backwards last season. And can be easily replaced.
If Raya leaves Brentford for £40m, which he won't, we only net £4m. He will go to Spurs, but more around £30m. So it's only likely we will get around £2m.
Luton Town really want Kaminski. I'd let him go. Under contract for 2 years, we can get around £2m for him.
I'd also look to move Scott Wharton on and try get a £500k for him. He is, like Travis, going backwards.
While I agree you don't become a bad player overnight. You can go backwards very fast. Travis was dropped for months last season. It was when Buckley got injured things changed for the worse.
We need to try & raise around £7m. So we can move forwards.
We will never ever move forwards with a majority of the players who don't strive to be any better like Travis. So cash in, and move on.
We lost Lenihan & Brereton for nothing. We have to cash in. We never achieved anything with these players anyway.

I more or less agree with what you are saying but you are under evaluating our players.
2.5 million minimum for travis and 5 million minimum for kaminski.
    We shouldn't even consider less.
Football is still a buyer's market and both are easily that valuation.

    What a pathetic opening offer.
Anything under 2 million should be laughed at but under a million?
Come back millwall, when you have looked under the sofa cushions.

Yep pathetic offer. But I do feel he is very very stale and if we can get £2m we should take it.
I know there are market values, but he reality is, he is worth as much as a club is willing to pay.
We just lost Lenihan & Brereton for nothing, so we have to be smart when it comes to selling.
Do we need Travis? Probably not anymore. A couple of mill is fair, he is a bang average Champ player. Nothing more.
I also think we will get around that for Kaminski. Start saying he is worth £5m and we get no buyers. I don't feel we need 2 similar GK's, one can leave for a fee. Luton want him, get that money in and go buy a quality striker.
We should get around £8/9m in for Raya, Travis & Kaminski. Spend that all on a very decent striker from Europe, or the Champ.
One more smart transfer who can get that 20 goals, and I feel Rovers have a top 7 side.

I feel we are not far off that now champs.
Currently we are about 10th,in terms of squad quality.
A decent forward or 2,along with some cover at left back and who knows.
Of course if kaminski goes, then another will have to be brought in.

    Luton lining up a bid.
6 million for travis and kaminski?
Not that fussed about losing travis but I still feel losing kaminski will come back to bite us.
However he wants to play regularly and JDT prefers pears.

I get that. I did feel Kaminski was no better than Pears. I think they are both similar, and I dont feel we would miss Travis as we have better, and he probably needs to move on to freshen up, as he was no longer improving. £6m plus any money from Raya would be a godsend, if we used it wisely. I believe that would push us further forward. I'm not so sure we would be both of those players stayed.

Anderlecht are now interested in Kaminski. I believe we are trying to get around £6m for him alone.

I think if its Luton that are interested in Travis, being they are a Prem league side now, we stand a better chance of getting around the £2.5m we will want for him. If its someone like Millwall, we will only get around £1m. But I do believe its time he moved on. I think the new midfielder we got is his replacement. He scored just 2 goals last season Trav, In the first 2 games. He doesnt create anything at all. And does not score. His passing was nowhere near as good as a player like Morton. And while Morton got tonnes of stick, he set goals up. His passing was the reason he played so much. JDT is asking us to play a different way now. Travis is not going to fit or be effective in that set up. Its not enough to just be able to tackle. You also need to be able to pass, and create. I'll bet if you played JRC in midfield, he would get around 10/12 goals a season. And create around the same. I feel we have a decent defence and a solid enough keeper. We have some good forward players, and some really good, creative midfielders. We lack a striker, a real goal scorer.
If nobody else came in now,, and nobody left, I still believe this current set of players will get us in the top 10 easily. If we got in some money, and spent it wisely in a goal scorer, that could push us into being a serious top 2 contender. I think we can live without Travis and Kaminski. With what we have already. But we need to spend some money.

I see we are in for the young lad from Everton who was on loan at Sunderland until Jan, who they re-called. He scored vrs us.
I do not like that, he would not be the answer. We have to do better than that.

    Simms is the lad.
I am not overly keen either but I am not entirely sure ennis is either.
Hey I don't want to chuck the lad under a bus before a ball has been kicked but we really do need a decent forward through the door.
I like Gallagher but you will get 20 games out of him and probably 10 goals maximum.
We need more and JDT recognises that in his latest rally cry.
