    Centre back and left back

We simply cannot go in to the season without a right sided centre back and a left back. If we do. we are unprepared.

I agree we need to add a right sided centre back and agruably a left back however everyone is forgetting how good Matt Targett was for us on loan. Only reason the guy didn't play much was due to BDB playing like Peak Roberto Carlos after Targett go injured.

Howe enjoyed Having BDB's additional hight in the side. However we can't disregard the fact that Targett is a consistent 7/8 out of 10 every match kind of player.

If we bring in a Borna Sosa level Left back great but I'd not be too sad if Targett is our 1st choice left back for the upcoming season.

A replacement for Lacelles I think is more important. Sadly it's time for out captain to move to pastures new.

Hopefully Targett is back as first choice left back now and Burn can be cover at centre back, if we keep Burn at left back we will be in trouble this season.

Don’t forget we have Dummett, could be used when rotating with Targett, not good enough for champions league though, although I would trust Targett, even if lacking a bit of pace.

Drsireable yes and I think a left back is needed more than a CB but its not disasterous if we don't stll have BDB andvTargett. Has either put a foot wrong.

And a striker? Or do we put Isak up front with Wilson as a sub?

Also Gordon has proven he's decent through the middle for England U21, so those 3 can play the CF.

    CF
    Isak, Wilson & Gordon

    LW
    Maxi and Barnes - Joelinton

    RW
    Diaby and Miggy - Murphy

    CMF
Bruno, Tonali, Willock, Longstaff, Elliot - Joelinton
    (Definitely need 1 more)
