Some good stuff to celebrate though Lancy, Defence looks solid, Muric superb, Twine fantastic, Townsend showing that true class never fades.

All in all a good half for the lads against seriously top notch opposition.

Bit harsh Lancaster - midfield can’t get- keep ball for me no real service for them - need minutes in legs at minute regardless of who they are.

Still need two for Central Midfield, Cork and Gudmundsen arent up to it at Premiership Level. Also, given that they didnt play much in the championship, there has to be ?? over Twine and Bastian.

Up play has been decent , bearing in mind centrally we’re weak and slow , feel sorry for new lad up front know - not much in the way of service.

Weghorst played in the first half he was poor. Jay Rod really should have bagged a brace of headers but all in all a very decent team performance. We have got ourselves four very, very decent centre backs and I would be offering Townsend a contract and no mistake.
