On Parade at Newport last night.

    Newport County 3 v Charlton Ath 1.
We have our son and his family from Es*** staying all week, and took our football -mad 8 year old grandson( currently undergoing trials for Chelsea’s Academy) to see a game involving League Teams.
Charlton bossed the first half, and playing football like we did last season, went in to the interval 1-0 up. The second half started with the home side on the front foot , and soon as they equalised, the game changed, going on to deservedly win the game. One thing that was very noticeable was the “ injury time “ played in both halves. 5 minutes in the first , 8 minutes in the second half. Apart from substitutions, I don’t know where the rest came from to have a game lasting 103 minutes. This discussion will surely will carry on for a while.
Tonight, it’s Cardiff v Colchester, just down the road, then Saturday it’s Sophia Gardens for Welsh Fire’s home game in “ The Hundred “ competition.
Looks like it’s going to be a busy week, on and off the field !

Last time I was at the Newport ground 4/5 Welsh nitwits decided to take on a dozen Clarets fans as we were going back to the coach. Unfortunately for the sheep shaggers Rocky Mills was amongst the dozen. It did not end well for the Exiles. Permanent f*cking exile is what I'd give these Welsh lunatics.

No problems at all last night BT- even with noticeable South East accents in our company. One thing which is noticeable at Rodney Parade, whether it is football or rugby, is that the fans only seem to see the game through yellow and black glasses. Biased is not the word. Sometimes it’s quite amusing from a neutral angle.

Bit of rain around on Saturday Mal, not looking brilliant for the Hundred, but you never know.
