    Concern about our club

One thing that cannot be said about our owners is they have not backed VK. However it concerns me that we have spent an awful amount of money and even though it is very early I am concerned about the longer term financial impact on the club if this level of spending does not work. I suppose one thing that needs to be addressed is the stadium which needs a level of upgrading especially since we seem to have sell outs for most games.

If we start winning Lancy I don't think how much we have spent will bother most Burnley fans.

The Cricket Field End stand is a perennial problem, the Cricket Club won't budge so how do we rebuild it?

A mate of mine is a Villa fan and he said the Cricket Field End is a $hithole but went on to say he loved it! He was not impressed with the catering though.

That is because people from Birmingham are not used to «*haute cuisine*» as served at the Turf.

From what I'm hearing the catering this season is a shambles, a fecking disgrace is how one fan decribed it. You'd think the Yanks would know how to sell a hot dog, but it seems not.

Believe it or not Sinkov there were no pies on Sunday. My eldest lad was having kittens.

We gave up to buy food on the turf many years ago. We got completely fed up with burnt pies.

My wife used to make some home made pies and while they were piping hot wrap them in tin foil so not only did we have a good warm pie at half time but during the first half something to warm our hands on.

It's making me hungry just thinking about Mrs VC's home made pies.
