    Mike Graham, mocking the ludicrous.

Mike Graham is the morning presenter on TALK TV, an IQ in the stratoshpere, funny, effortlessly brilliant, what great company he would make.

Not a lot of that these days.

It doesnt take that to run the country though, just a bit of common, even that is lacking, replaced not by doing whats needed, but by slavish observance to a doctrine.

Still, never mind, trying to change something that you cant change is insane, an early grave will beckon, not only in politics but in all things.

I must say it is entertaining though, that persons like Sunak, probably a thousand qualifications in all sorts, billionaire, 200 iq, constantly shows how stupid he is.

Theres more to being a successful human being than iq, though, what can it be?

Mike Grahams got it, jolly, rotund, always looking for the joke.

The people who should be running the country, the above and Farage on GB news, have lost the sheep war.

The sheep are you, voting for such, your votes going to wokery, abysmal failure, and doing it over and over.

90 per cent of people are sheep, and will follow the crowd, even over a cliff, and by gum, were over, because the sheep are stupid, easily led....to the slaughter.

The only thing to do is mock. Look at Cambridge United, for f sake.

If you could invite four guests to your final lunch (living or dead) who would you choose Frank?

For me it would be Gyles Brandreth, Lorraine McIntosh,Paul Heaton and God

Gyles always makes me laugh with his stories about his life, such an intelligent and interesting person as well and not scared to take the micky out if himself either ,I could listen to him for hours

Paul Heaton, loved his music since the Housemartins, brilliant songwriter and singer and I would egg him on to sing his back catalogue,he bought out a single called Still earlier in the year, beautifully heartbreaking and shows that he's still got talent (check it out on YouTube)

Lorraine McIntosh from the 90's,I know all of Deacon Blues songs off by heart, she could back me while I go through them one by one, looking into my eyes and singing face to face close up as she's has so many times with Ricky Ross

Finally God,so many questions so little time and that's if he turned up of course

Would Mike Graham make it to your table Frank

Thats a good question, id have to think about it. As for inviting god, you dont need too, it will be inviting yourself. You are a creation of the Universe, and by default divine.

All near death experiencers describe becoming part of the whole.

I cant say im familiar of the above, except for Brandreth, i saw him at Willingham auctions a couple of years ago.

The choice would be about wanting to see someone because i want to see them again, or a good conversationalist, the two dont nescessarily go together.

I would want to see my mother, one of the few people who would listen to me, a gift indeed, we would spend hours talking, ill have to think about the rest. Indeed, i think im her, the similarities are alarming, that this earth can only go so far in satisfying us, the world hasnt got it, or ever will.

Apparently her father was the same.

I came back to start a thread on what game im going to this weekend, there is only two, strangely, everyone is away.

Theres Kings Lynn v Southport, thats an attractive game, or St Ives v Telford. Braintree are tempting, ive never been there, but its a fair drive.

Where are you going?, the cogs are turning over on the other 3.

I googled Southport as it’s one of those clubs thst I’ve heard of but know little about and surprised to see that Jim Bentley is the gaffer there, the last I time I heard about him was when he was in charge of Rochdale, not going to a game this weekend as Notts are away to MK Dons and it’s a ground thst I’m not really fussed about as it’s far to big and empty for the area if you ask me
It’s good that you would like to meet your mother again,I like that about you,I never gave relatives a thought just famous people which says more about me than you Frank

Wasnt Bentley the manager that got Morecambe promoted etc. John Steinbeck would be my first pick, i read all his books in my 20s, you cant write like that and not be like it.

You wont get his like today, writing in one sentence on an opening page, " then from the town came wops chinamen and polaks", and in that sentence you understood what he was saying.

He had a debating group that chewed the fat over the worlds issues, he and Ed Rickets followed communism enthusistically, till they found out what it really was, then never mentioned it again.

Ricketts was someone you never forgot, Steinbeck followed him, and in that group it included down and outs, and copious amounts of beer. Ricketts was an humantarian he made you feel special, different, like he was casting garlands at your feet and would listen to every word.

Something went wrong there, half the post went missing. Theres Tim, i shared ahouse with him, an extrovert, a womaniser, boozer, gambler, card player, and brlliant company. Its funny how whoever your with, things rub off, as im sure it happens the other way too. I had a go at his then current girlfriend, he didnt mind.

He was a sensor, he related to the world through his senses, not with introspection, like me. He had a mate Jamie, he was gods gift, he could score anywhere. We went to Leeds one weekend, i walk into a night club and hook up in five minutes, went to Heckmonwike the next night and got back sunday morning to find an orgy going on.

I got told off for not keeping the brotherhood together.

Ive just noticed there are no ex wives or girlfriends there, how surprising is that, if i had my life again would i choose them?, no, i would pick the ones i rejected, especially Judith, for gods sake, what was i thinking.

Shes passed on. Then theres Sam and May, who believed in me, so important for young people, im sure thay would have been excellent company.

If we all got together, your lot my lot, had a infinite supply of booze, we could discuss this topic alone for days. The art of conversation, debate, is dead, people speak one word and think its a conversation.

Tim sounds like a wrong un and I doubt that i would get on with him,he would see me as a mug, someone he could draw me into a friendly game of cards for pennies and two hours later I would would be staggering out of his house looking for a cash machine to repay the £200 that I owe him,I only popped in to say hello to you as well, when you said that you had a go at his girlfriend what did you mean, did you verbally have a go at her for something or other or do you mean you tried it on? I should be hoping that it’s the former but I know Tim’s of this world and if he didn’t mind then he should be ashamed,I hope that they aren’t still together as she deserves better

No he wasnt a bad un, far from it, you make things up then get upset, why your angry i dont know, he would have lent me the shirt off his back if i needed it. You live your life along narrow parameters, when are you going to be young and just have some fuggin fun?

That period of my life was brlliant, unlike your intense sterilty, a shower looking to rain on someone, and as for popping in you let it rain. Dont bother. Nasty. Ive touched something that will never be you and you dont like it.

By the way, i nearly jumped her bones.

Why do you sometimes call me nasty, are you trying to get a bite,if not I would be interested in your explanation

We seemed to have lived very different lives Frank that’s all,I’ve led a straight and narrow Christian path from birth, jumping somebody’s bones as you put it sounds like you and Tim was suited to being friends, two of a kind, bird’s of a feather and I can see how you looked up to him,I never want to p1ss on anyones parade but I don’t like those who do so,I’m not saying that Tim is one of those people but I bet that he would laugh at it if he saw it
