    Wes Foderingham

Just watched the highlights back for the 2,000th time.

I think the Blades keeper had a really good game. He made all the saves he could make.

The 8 goals we scored were literally unstoppable.

The chances were high value XG goals.

    Brighton 2.15 v Bournemouth 1.59 (3-1)

    Arsenal 2.34 v Tottenham 2.21 (2-2)

    Liverpool 4.14 v West Ham 1.54 (3-1)

    Sheffield United 0.58 Newcastle United 5.11 (0-8)

Take the stats anyway you like however it's yet more evidence that we are regaining our form not that this was a freak one off.

That's an interesting point, Raga - I felt bad for the keeper as he didn't actually deserve to concede eight goals. But looking at it now, you're right - he couldn't have done anything about any of them. Even Gordon's is more tricky than it perhaps looks.

    Their defence and midfield, however...

I reckon a lot of that performance is down to Eddie and his staff preparing them correctly after the poor start to the league season. The players also had a meeting apparently and a few home truths were spelled out, all good stuff and not unexpected, as they say good players don’t become bad overnight.

If they had a meeting, then that was a very good time to have it before a truly poor run might have started. I'm glad that we have people in charge who are acting and not just reacting.

    Yes indeed!

It all clicked. I recon it's our return to form rather than anomaly.

I think there’s been a gradual return to form starting with the Brentford game - with the foundation block being clean sheets.

It's great to have such a great group of players who care enough to deal with the poor form internally between themselves. Also having such a brilliant team of coaches and a manager who's standards are so high.

It's great to be a fan of this club right now!

They have the same mentality as the Barton, Nolan era, not afraid to tell it how it is and maybe rattle a few cages in the process. It had the desired effect!

Good call, never thought of that, but yeah you're right man!

All's we need is a fella to start doing the chicken dance goal celebration now.
