    Dyche out by Monday?

Surely that is the final nail in the coffin for SD.

He certainly didn't do us any favours though nor did Pep, a bad day results wise, the gap is widening and Tuesday will be critical.

We should not be obsessing about Sean I am sure he can look after himself whatever happens. Our focus has to be on our team and manager and hope things start to improve. Just a general observation it looks like we have signed players who are not robust enough for this league. The players are not quick enough, have insufficient guile, unable to string passes together, and certainly knocked off the ball too easily. It is all these things we need to concentrate on and forget what is happening at Everton.

We started a team almost from scratch in the Championship and got away with it, we had time to gel against lowlier opposition, we've just tried the same thing in the Prem and are being punished for it.

I agree Lancaster. It is like watching men against boys at times.I originally thought it was the reason we did not sign Tella as to me he looked lightweight for the PL but the current team are almost featherweight.Even Berge does not assert himself on the opposition.
The other problem is we have nobody who seems to be able to convert the few chances we do create.Amdouni has missed 3 sitters now in our last 2 league games. That has been the difference in the last 2 games.I hope Foster can score a few when he returns.

We've only played one team outside of the top 10 so far, and but for VAR we would have beaten them twice on their own ground. We'll have a better idea after 3/4 games against some of the lesser teams. Just for comparison, Everton have played five teams outside of the top 10 and they only have 3 points more than us. Nothing to worry about .........yet.

I thought Trippier fouled Ramsey, Amdouni simply had to put us 1-0 up and by heck that was a soft, daft penalty.

Like someone used to say, "Fine margins".

I was not too impressed with the ref either BT. He gave a lot of cheap free kicks against us and we hardly got some in return. He blew the whistle every time a Newcastle player went to ground and Trippier took full advantage of that. But that’s gamesmanship right? And something our players lack a bit.
I’ve finally been able to view Mission to Burnley, and there Kompany says that we have recruiters who are able to see talent at a stage before they are priced away from us. That means inexperienced, right? Our challenge as I see it is not just to get your players to gel, they also need to gain a lot of experience. I have no doubt we will get better and that we have talent in buckets, but will we get enough time in the PL to get the experience needed to win games at this level? Kompany knows all about the physicality of the PL. He still thinks small talented players is the way to go. So I’m not so worried about us having bought the wrong kind of players… I’m more worried about the number of young talents we are planning will make it good and if the time we get will be sufficient. But like Sinkov says we’ve met good opposition so far.
