    Our form.

    W4 D4 L1 out of the last 9 matches.

3 clean sheets in a row, 4 clean sheets in 5 matches.

Difficult games navigated away at Bristol City, Leeds, Watford and Preston.

Slipped on the Huddersfield banana skin.

For such a thin squad and non existent striker team this is the best I think we could’ve hoped for apart from the Huddersfield game.

I think we’ve got a good squad Mick, a few players short but we have some long term injuries too. Incidentally, I just sent the stats of the Birmingham match to a friend who supports Huddersfield after they lost 4-1. Huddersfield had more shots on goal and had more missed chances, so the score line is a bit flattering. We need to give Birmingham something to think about on Friday.

Agreed, posted similar thoughts on 23 September:

”I really can’t be that disappointed about the results, if I think about what I would have expected before the games had been played.

I would gladly, any day, take a draw away vs Leeds, Bristol C and Watford.

Likewise with wins vs Middlesbrough and Swansea home.

Defeat vs Blackburn away is of course not what you want, but could def happen.

The disappointment, of course, a defeat vs Huddersfield home. A game we lost AET, and nearly won AET.

So, the upcoming home games will def decide whether there will be disappointment or not. The upcoming away games look pretty tough.”
