Of course I am missing the Championship but that does not mean I necessarily want us to go back there next season. VAR free it is for the moment but I am in no hurry to return. And what can we make of the current farce of issuing a yellow card for time wasting unless match officials are carrying a stopwatch? Ref A allows players 30 seconds but Ref B only 25 say. Is this another PGMOL own goal to add to their extraordinary list of own goals? We may have to redefine own goal as well as offside and handball.

One of the Man City ladies got herself sent off for time wasting as it earned her a second yellow.
