    Hecky

    Pressure is on him.
Sheffield United have built a brilliant Championship squad.
Unfortunately for him that ain’t good enough playing in the Premier.
And as such they are getting thrashed week in week out.

Have the board at Sheffield knowingly built such a squad in the expectation of being relegated - and knowing that next season they will be a force in the Championship ?
    I think they could have.

Now there is talk of him being sacked - even tho the board IMO knew what was likely to happen this season.

But would we have him back at Barnsley ?
IMO the football we saw under Hecky was the most exciting football I’ve seen for years.
We haven’t seen such exciting football since he left.
But personally would I like to see him back.
The answer to that is a resounding NO !!!
Why - because he doesn’t fit the same style of football as what Barnsley has been set up for.
And that’s why he was pushed out in the first place.

But then again - neither does Neill Collins.

Hecky wouldn't come back here even if it was offered to him .

Nowt to come back for , he left because he was hung out to dry by the club's model and nowts changed .

Done a tremendous job at Sheffield United but they are about as much a PL club as we are a Championship one .

Heckingbottom has failed big time at all of his previous managerial roles, (Leeds & Hibs). He is way out of his depth at Premiership level, and the only reason he has not been sacked is because the fat greedy Saudi chairman gave him a 5 year contract expecting the club to have new owner's by now, basically giving the Dingle born person a golden handshake. PS/ Every club McCall has been involved with as a manager has ended in tears. Clear the deck's now ,!

Not being funny but sheffield united as a club are out of their depth in the Premiership as things stand. It doesn't matter who they appoint as manager this season (that's even if they sack Hecky?) they will be relegated.

Hecky has been dealt a bum hand at the Lane , no manager could expect to do well under the circumstances they have put him under , to achieve promotion & then sell your best two players was crazy as is getting rid of Hecky, he has proven that he has the ability to get a team promoted to the top flight therefore with relegation nearly nailed on then who better is there to get them back ? , surely it would be wise to let him get them back again & then back him & give him the tools to do the job , would I have back at Oakwell ? no that ship has sailed , we tried it with Clarke & Wilson & both times it failed plus I doubt Hecky would want the gig anyway .
