    Giving the Ball away

One repetitive set of words by commentators is "Burnley must keep the ball better always giving the ball away". Just what do the coaches learn the players ????.

The players learn, the coaches teach.

It is pathetic. They cannot cope with the press at this level. They get no time on the ball and panic when they do get it unless they can go backwards.

The team is not technically gifted enough to play the VK style at this level.Simple.

Enjoy guys, you wanted entertainment and possession football and you are getting it. 50% possession average and involved in games averaging 3 goals per game. What's not to like?

Soon be entertaining again Sub-in the Championship! It was probably the most entertaining season that I can remember-maybe the promotion season under Horseface was equal.

The championship is getting better and better.. deluded to think we will bouncy back.. we should have looked after this promotion and not looked at it as "ahead of schedule" we spent 100mil on players. we have had 4 shots on target in 2 games against "our level" teams according to VK and yet at the other end we have conceded 5 goals against "our level"
We look tactically lost on the pitch, we are not playing a possession game, we are not retaining the ball, we are not direct... wtf are we other than lost with the occasional wing threat.?

Never in my lifetime have I seen Burnley fans so uninspired at an away game. They could hardly be bothered to berate a Godawful referee. There is simply no way on earth we will stay up this season. No chance.

Wow Bt even I couldn’t berate the ref today ,

I’m not sure he did anything in the way of bias etc

We were second best at everything they were the better team played with intent and tried to win the game - we pretended to be in the game and looked like a poor Sunday side with no direction or motivation to win.

That sums it up beautifully for me - never looked in it even after we took the lead early - we should have gone on from there but no we rolled over and had our tummies tickled again.

VK a winner they tell me - where is it now

We all pissed ourselves at Delia at Norwich when her call to arms came out but right now I’d take a Delia at the turf - time to roll
Sleeves up and dig in regardless of talent.

Said today we have a 18 million forward who played today and we couldn’t support him or faction a chance at goal - we kicked balls up in the air to him - where is the structure leadership and guidance in that - it really is beyond me.

BT if you paid to go there today I apologise for VK as in my opinion he should be giving our fans their money back.

We left Friday morning journey from hell, now we have to roll out bed and do it all again. I would like the time back, not the money.
