Are our fringe players better than we thought.

Most of the squad has had to be used over the past week and not one of the single irregulars has let the side down.

Considering the last two results, away to Manure and the defeat of le Arse-anal, they can all be ultra proud of themselves.

Livramento is a player. I questioned why we had bought him when we needed other players now, but he's ready. impressed me everytime I have seen him.

Lascelles has been doing a great job. He's nowhere near as comfortable on the ball as Botman or Schar but he's been solid.

I wouldn't call Livramento (and, by the same token, Hall) a fringe player.

However, Ritchie, Murphy, Lascelles...no, I don't think they are better than we thought. I think it's testament to Howe's coaching skills asn to their determination and character.

    Agreed.

Not sure I'd call Murphy a fringe player to be honest though.
