We all drew a blank on Saturday, as no one forecast the correct score against Crawley. Lincoln, currently 9th in League One, entertained Morecambe in the FA Cup and were beaten 2-1. I can see a repeat of the result when we played Lincoln earlier in the season. I’ve changed to William Hill for the odds, and I wouldn't call 150/1 for Notts to win 9-0 a value bet!

    7 p.m. kick-off, so predictions by 6 o'clock please.

    Lincoln 3 Notts 1 (Crowley)

A draw will be enough for Lincoln unless Wolves Academy win or win on pens at Derby.
We would need to win and Derby have to beat Wolves Academy for us to go through.

Would be weird if Derby win and we draw, which would mean Lincoln go through with Derby and yet we still presumably have to have a penalty shoot out for the bonus point which will make no difference whatsoever. Not as crazy as Ireland needing to lose to Netherlands to have a better chance of qualifying for Euro 2024 but still ridiculous.

    Lincoln 2 Notts 2
Followed by the first meaningless shoot out in Notts history.

    Lol. Langstaff?

Surely he will be no where near the squad for this game. A game that’s more meaningless than normal EFL Trophy sh1t

    Lincoln 2. Notts 1.

A game Notts could well do without.

May well come on as a sub to score a last minute winner but you are probably correct

Lincoln 0 Notts -1 (goal deducted for looking at the referee a bit funny)

I cannot take this competition seriously, sorry. It's a shame given how close the cities are.
