    Hugo Ekitike

    Looks like he’s available.

I think we will go for him. We were close last year but he chose PSG.

    Would you take him?

He's not been a big success at PSG, perhaps hasn't fitted in well but was watching our game there with his agent.

If he can’t get in a team where the other players can’t hit a barn door from 2 feet, then I’d be concerned.

He has played 9 minutes of football this season..

If Ashworth wants to go back in for him then he must see something in him.. personally if we can get him for around £30m in todays market then go for it..

Anthony Gordon was Ashworths number one target for £45m and Everton said they robbed us... If Ekitike turns out half as good as Gordon or Isak for £30m I'd be happy.. plus he can play RW also

If, as you say Everton reckon they robbed us, I'll bet a lot of them would like him back in a blue shirt the way the lad's playing now.

Also I'm sure he'd enjoy putting two fingers up to them in return.

Nah, he had his chance with us, I really don't rate him to be honest.

I was just thinking we obviously rate him. We have a relationship with the player and his representatives from previous negotiations, we could do with a forward. He’s young enough that he won’t mind not starting every game. He can play on the wing too. His wages should be relatively reasonable.

I bet we are making enquiries. Time will tell.

I’d take him for the right price.

I certainly think we had a relationship with him...and, tbh, when we were linked, it was quite exciting as he seemed a very good prospect but, as TT says...if he can't get in this PSG team?

I get why he chose PSG.

Young Frenchman etc. I totally get it.

However, his attitude to me seems to stink.

I think that Eddie could massively lift him to further hights but I worry abouth is attitude.

I do however think his agent has ****ed him and gone looking for money he can get on commission, rather htan what was best for his client.
