As someone who's not naturally one of life's optimists, I thought I'd list what we do well and vice versa. Please feel free to add other items.
Pros:-
Excellent owners trying to build a sustainable club.
Excellent head coach.
Very good stadium with constant improvements being made.
A very good average attendance.
An improving commercial operation.
Good communication from the club.
Playing the best football for years.
Improving academy.
We're not F****t or the Slags.
Cons
Squad not as strong as I like.
Hand driers in the toilets.
So if you're glass is half empty get to the bar and get it filled.

It's easy to forget we're still in the playoff positions after all this doom and gloom. Realistically, I don't expect Notts to get promoted this season, but next season I'd like to see us properly addressing our weaknesses and pushing for automatic.
Unless you are a club like Wrexham and can sign players from two divs above, back-to-back promotions can end up hampering long-term progress. A season of consolidation followed by a genuine promotion challenge makes more sense.
Over the past 30 years that's true, but not always. And I think we have far more potential in the long run to get out of that rut
