O/T Mr Bates And The Post Office

If anyone hasn't seen this drama based on true events about the Post Office scandal I'd highly recommend it on ITV X .

It's certainly brought the scandal back to life and hopefully those responsible will at long last face the consequences of their actions as well as it's victims receiving proper justice .

Made my blood boil to be honest what went off and the suffering by those who were victims of this scandal .

    Absolutely disgusting .

After watching this series it made me feel sick. A drama put together fantastically well with great actors.
I think everyone that watched it Animal will agree with your sentiments entirely.
In the “British Justice System We Trust” I think not.

Totally agree Animal. Excellent series, one of the best in years. I've signed the petition to get Vennells' CBE removed. Couldn't take my eyes off this programme. Parts of it really do bring
    a tear to your eye.
What got most, is that I've been aware of problems regarding Horizon etc over the years I also follow the news on a regular basis. However, I feel, having watched this programme, that I've been transported to a completely different world in terms of my own 'unawareness' of this issue. So where have the mainstream media been these last 15 or so years? The media has been negligent and probably too focused on non-issues rather than highlighting such an important issue as this. It's left me disgusted with the mainstream media.

That's something that got me Poggy. I never knew that the Post Office was able to prosecute it's own cases.
You have to be seriously incompetent as a manager to not recognise and look into systematic issues such as this.

Yes they have there own security/ police called IB , they set up cameras etc for security inside sorting offices etc using top quality systems although some of the old places have two way glass but if there is a suspicion of any wrong doing they will be tuned in, obviously the horizon disaster is a different ball game & what happened & in some ways still happening is absolutely scandelous , there is no way that any of these poor people should still be awaiting compensation it should have been settled years ago .

I would think a few million including me have been educated on that front Arbs.

Paula Vennells well what can I say, She is a full blooded hypocrite and even a clergy at that.
The Big House that runs our country is also lined with hypocrisy.

Time for a big change in my opinion.

Made me feel sick this did. Mrs Jules wept at it. The media should have a part to play in not letting this go. But we all know they won’t. Too interested im Beckham, Prince of the realm and Michelle Keeganys tyts. Anything else has a five day shelf life with them
