    The FA Cup Blackout

As the match was ending against Blackburn, Sam Todd our commentator said that he had looked at all the posible media outlets that our match could be watched on but unfortunately he couldn't find one.

It has bugged me for some years that unless your team is on the TV then the're no way of seeing them apart from on the BBC designated programme.

In this day and age when all the matches are beamed live for editing then surely the sponsors of the cup, The media outlets and the FA are missing a trick.

I'm all for showing a possible giant killing but they're so rare now that the BBC use the opportunity to act like the Premier league show.

I think that they have killed the FA Cup and what it was even more.

Newport and Eastleigh might say the same,if we put them all on…who”s going to watch or not watch what and who”s going to pay the attributed costs…and will it reduce attendance…it is what it is..plus all local radio are allowed to broadcast these games online..

TV cameras will be at the Fulham game yet the live pictures aren't being made available for purchase. Seems like a missed financial opportunity for the FA

It's not posible to put them all on the TV but the very limited highlights have been poor over the years. We may get 30 seconds of film which is dire when the capacity to show all game is there.

The FA Cup used to be something special. Times have changed and we're now used to more.

What are the options if you want to watch Rotherham United? You can't be pleased that there's a black out for us.
