The revolving door beckons.
And by all accounts he wants to go.
We can hardly blame him...

The revolving door beckons.
Set of ****s, tell them whatever their 2nd offer is to double it and then we might start talking.
Only started 13 games out of 46 in the Championship, why on earth anyone expects him to be regulsr starter in the PL is beyond me, he never was going to be. He got lucky with his left-foot from the corner of the box a few times, but one-trick ponies soon get sussed in the PL, besides which he's a walking sick note, has he ever played 90 minutes for us ?
When he gets the ball in the old outside right position (like John Connelly, Willie Morgan style) he is lethal. My problem with Benny is he gets taken out of games too easily.
I think my latest comments on the Scott Twine thread could easily be cut and pasted into this thread.
Let's see if we can come out on the right side of the money and move on. Same for Zaroury while I'm at it.
If we can get Koleosho fit and firing, the kid and Odobert really will be worth the price of a season ticket on their own.
Fits the Benson, Twine & Zaroury situations to a "T" I think...
I don't think the lad is capable of playing in the physical hustle & bustle of the EPL. He's a lovely little footballer but I'd like to break even on the transaction and move on. No criticism meant of the lad, he's just not for us.
He featured in 33 Championship games and played atotal of 1525 minutes which is fractionally over half of the length of the 33 games.
He completed two games which he started ---we won neither! Reading on 15 April (draw) and QPR on 22 April (lost) ---he did come on at Rotherham on the Tuesday in between and scored what we thought would be a winner but Rotherham equalised 4 minutes later and with 5 minutes to go.
He has played just 100 minutes of first team football this season.
Dirty Weeds also want Benny by all accounts...
