The timing suggest”s a bit of a dead cat story….
A (very) long-winded way of saying 2 things.
1 We dropped a right clanger appointing Taylor because he ripped the guts out of our club with no idea of what to replace it with.
2 We want Richardson sweating in his track suit on the training ground, and not getting bogged down with the paper clips budget.
At least they have finally communicated and we shouldn't knock them for that
Also suggests that Warne's ideas of recruiting a certain type of person had or has support. I can see why they went for experience in summer, when the other way hadn't worked so well, but enduring quality mixed with experience comes at a high price. Now I think they're getting at wanting to recruit those who have proper hunger to improve.
Maybe the club ought to have made Ronnie Moore striker coach, & show em how to score a goal.
Congratulations to Rob and good luck in the new position, I see the academy is mentioned let us hope that the comments from previous managers about the need to improve in this area and be able to bring players through that into the first team squad on a regular basis is a focus, although that will take time and investment.

Rob Scott says he's got contacts wants more a millers type player which we mostly didn't get in the summer. Hope that's what we're waiting for.
Good news I think.
Scotts records is better than most and it's obvious he was sidelined or effectively told to do something different by Taylor and clearly against his own opinions.
The poo shower of recruitment is obviously the issues we are going down.
