    Hurst

Paul Hurst back at Shrewsbury, a club that he probably now regrets leaving in the first place. Good luck to him but it rarely works out second time round, and if he fails again it will be time for a job in insurance or somewhere

Paul Hurst did well at Shrewsbury Town before, thats why Ipswich Town came in
for him, sadly it didn't work out for him, which shows that the grass is not always
    greener on the other side.
He had a stint at Grimsby Town, but was dismissed, whether he was given the money
to try & get the club into a higher league, we don't know.
In hindsight he should have stayed at Shrewsbury Town, instead of going to a higher
league team in Ipswich Town, at the time.

He had 2 spells at Grimsby. Was sacked second time round, as Tigerish says second time rarely works. From Grimsby he went to Scunny and was sacked there as well. When he was at Shrews he had quite a few quality loan players. Might not be the same this time round.

It's a great point Croc, they had some incredible loan players that season that propelled them towards the top of the League. Dean Henderson,Ben Godfrey,Carlton Morris. We did well to beat em!

I think he would have had way more regrets had he stayed at Shrewsbury and wondering what might have been at ipswich, yes hindsight is a wonderful thing. UTM

Managers are same as players, if a chance comes to better yourself, you take it.

    Indeed.

If you don't back yourself then why should anyone else? Rules to live by those.

If you fail, you fail. I'd rather try and fail than not try.

    Agree with that 100%

Before I started in business I always said I didn’t want to be one the old gits sat in the bottom club at Thurcroft saying “I could’ve done that”
So the motto should be: “If you don’t give it a go you’ll never know”

He's not made a bad living from getting sacked
