    Everton knocked again

Deducted a further two points for a further breach of regulations.

I hope both Citeh and Chelski are feeling the heat now.

Have Chelsea been charged with anything?

The rules are a joke...but...Everton broke them.

The deduction was 5 but reduced to 2 because of mitigation. One of the mitigating factors was that they admitted it early, ffs.

So they SHOULD have had 15 points deducted altogether.

Yep. Everton have gone from 'we didn't do it' to 'we think the punishment is too harsh'.

There's no doubt they have friends in high places.

I also suspect the PL are worried that, at some point, these rules will face a legal challenge.

It's a funny old game and an even funnier FA game against anyone but the big cheeses.

It's telling that ManUre, Arsenal & Liverpool didn't spend in Jan. They all have the concern that punishments are now real with Everton and Forest setting the precedent.

The whole thing is dumb. It works on the tax year instead of the football season. It would make more sense to run for the year between the end of each Summer transfer window. Sept 1st to Sept 1st. That way Forest's stupid punishment wouldn't have happened. They waited til the end of the window to get the best price for a top player. That deal put more money into the clubs accounts, it was good business but still they got punished.

    STUPID!

City don't need any players, they have 2 world class 11s. Their case is taking forever due to the vast amount of charges and data that has to be reviewed.

The EPL should have focused on 5-10 absolute nailed on, bang to rights cases against City to make it clear cut. With the 100+ other alleged offenses as circumstantial supporting evidence.

Whether this sprawling case is intentional to muddy the waters and make the whole thing so Opacic that the whole thing falls apart, whether they are a set of chances, like apes at the zoon flinging their own faeces against the wall or they genuinely believe that can hammer the Manchester club for a vast majority of these 100+ charges remains to be seen.

However, from what I've seen so far of Masters, the EPL and the rest of this clown troop it smells like Apes at dawn to me.

But what makes it more hilarious is because there was no spending - Sky went ape**** because all the money they put into the prem was for nothing as there was no business to sell on TV.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with Chelsea and sales in the end of season
