I must admit i'm quite baffled by this signing. McDonald is a left footed CB, so unless Cameron is off i don't know where he fits. My only other thought is McDonald middle of the 3 with Platt as the RCB. If it's true Maynard wants overlapping CB's Platt would struggle technically though imo. Riley Harbottle or Rawson would have made more sense imo. That being said he's here now and i hope Maynard finds a way to make it work. The other signings have been spot on so overall i'm very happy. It's good to see so many defensive reinforcements.
