    Why not moyes

The more I think about it the more it makes sense

He has experience- he has contacts across the game

    He lives locally -

West Ham recruitment was good with him in charge so he obviously has the eye for a player and lately their acquisitions have been quality.

I know he’s not young but I think maybe a steady ship is what’s required - and discipline wise he’s a mad Scot he won’t take no rubbish.

What is not to like ?

He is a PL manager Army.He would not drop to the Championship.A job will come along for him in the PL next season. It is almost guaranteed.

Why don’t we just ask him ? Supposing he doesn’t have any offers before the season starts ?

He bought Maxwel Cornet so maybe he thinks we owe him.

Another reason why I'd prefer someone else to spend the money that Mr Pace has borrowed.

If he keeps picking up cheques for 13 million euros we will be fine.

That amount might just about cover the annual interest we're being charged on the loans. Or it might not.

The one big issue I have with the Pace/ALK combo is why did they not instruct Kaiser Kompany to fight tooth & nail to stay in the EPL this season? I cannot get my head around it mon ami.

The financial consequences of not bouncing straight back up will I fear be catastrophic.

With two of our nearest relegation rivals suffering points deductions staying up should have been a formality but in reality we were gone at Christmas.
