This must be sorted out. Investing in health service, investing in Education, investing in bus passes for elderly or young, etc etc.

Need to get an old school accountant in charge to show how much they spend each year.

Imagine if they had to pay for furlough....jesus h christ.

No growth and overspending......a recipe for total disaster or continuous increasing of taxes in Scotland.

It could all be improved if we could get a Holyrood that was Unionist. Independence is now a faith based religion imo.

I think the "free" prescriptions will be first to go.

Neil Gray the new Scottish Government health minister was greetin on TV about the Scottish Government not having enough money to spend on Health in Scotland because of 14 and a half years of austerity.
Health is a devolved matter and it is up to the Scottish Government to decide how much of the annual handout they receive from Westminster under the rules of the Barnett Formula they will spend on Health.
NHS Scotland could save a lot of money if GP practices tightened up on the handing out of repeat prescriptions without checking to see if their patients actually required them.

Are you calling the professional integrity of GPs into question?

Are you qualified to do that or have you just come to another ill informed opinion and declaring it as fact?

They are the ones who sign the prescriptions and have access to their patient’s medical records including every time their patient has submitted a request for a repeat prescription.

So after consultation and diagnosis, in their professional opinion, the prescription is required by the patient but you're saying as a retired Bank Clerk that the prescription isn't required at all?

I suggest you report your findings to the authorities, I'm sure they'll be very interested in this.

Be tougher on benefit cheats, disability a huge cost to many not deserving.
Be tougher on legal aid claimants and scrap the right to appeal convictions for all convicted,it's just a cash cow for lawyers.
Actually think of what the majority of people are pissed of about and deal with it.
I'm hoping labour defeat SNP up here as the current gov are hopeless.
