Kevin Campbell passes on aged 54

This was a shock to just read. Stories like these seem to resonate more because of the football attachment. I suppose people of his age die everyday but, it's only when you've been in the 'limelight of tv/radio media' that they're more prominent. So young in age and fitness terms. Remember him well being a good player, mainly with A.rsenal.

    RIP Kevin.

Watching Ian Wright on ITV when they brought up the subject of Kevin passing, it really cut him to the core. He said he couldn't talk about it at the moment and he just paid resepect to Kevin's family and friends.

They then showed some great photos of Wrighty/Campbell when they both scored in an FA Cup win. Then some more whare they wore fashionable, at the time, large leather long coats having a great time. This then really got to Wrighty and you could see he was visibly shaken and tearful. His fingers started to strum the top of the plinth he was stood in front of and only then did they move on to something else as his bottom lip started to quiver. Really felt for Wrighty at that point

This might explain some of what was behind his sorrow. Not good reading for the healthcare system.

That doesn’t read well. The NHS is grossly understaffed and issues like this are probably a daily occurrence but we don’t read about them if the patient is not well known to the public domain.
