Feel good factor that was building pre Falkirk, air has come out of that balloon.
I'm wanting a comprehensive victory tonight but I'm wanting to see the players develop a better understanding while doing it.
Midfield was a disaster v Falkirk, hopefully even JG managed to see that. Need to get on the ball and play with authority. In his presser he's insisting on getting the ball forward quicker, if that turns out to be long punts we're going to have a more difficult season than we thought.

A torrential down pour that lasted 30 minutes has barely affect the pitch, except the ball holding up a wee bit in the Shed end box.
Much better from United, trying to play mainly on the deck. Trapanovski has been a real threat on the left and the new lad Babunski oozes class, always has time and always looking for a forward pass. Very skilful. Looks a real player but this is Stenny so we'll find out in due course.
Moult took his goal well, heading back across the keeper and Trapanovski sent in a beautiful corner for Gallagher to slot home when the ball dropped to him.
Better. Much better.
Stenny have offered very little. Some aggressive tackles, on that crunched in on Ferry worried me as Ferry was down for a while and limping afterwards but seems ok.
Fotheringham and Strain not firing well on the right, and Strain failed to stop a cross when he could have tackled. Going forward he looks good though.
Trapanoski looked quite good, looks to be genuine two footed and good delivery.
Tony Watt, FFS. 😢
Bit rotten the last 20-25 mins after all the subs, expected them to fall away and us to get a couple more, but they played their best stuff then. Get a better test on Saturday v Ayr.
Ryan Strain stretchered off.
I missed the incident in real time but the replay seems to show no contact and he injured himself. Need to see that again.
Substitutions ruined the fluidity we had, but it meant Svelje moved into CDM and he looked excellent there, sending some great passes in for our attackers.
Ferry looked bang on it, Svelje Trapanovski and Babunski look like they will add quality on the deck. Babunski's control on the turn is great. Happy with these 4.
Have to say Middleton added little as did Thomson. One isn't good enough and the other isn't ready.
Never really noticed Watt. And that's v Stenhousemuir by the way.
Better 🧡
No contact suggest, to me anyway (I did this very thing in my youth) it could be quite a serious knee injury. I hope not though. ☹️
