Evening all,

Would value some advice from all as I've not been in this position before.

As most know, I work in a secondary school, m official job title is librarian but I'm to a large degree the Literacy Co-ordinator for the school.

I've just found out that from next year, all the library lessons that I would take (which is the equivelent to 14 hours of teaching a week) are being reduced to smaller termly group (4 hours a week) - meaning anyone could take them.

The literacy software program that I run isn't being renewed - meaning I won't be able to get any of the literacy info I use to set up literacy interventions, meaning I won't be able to do that.

The tutor reading program that I set up and run is being cut down from year 7-10 to just down to year 7.

I emailed the Head of English today to ask about year 8 library lessons for next year and I got a highly (unsually so) formal email back copying in my line manager and her's explaining why it couldn't happen.

It's left me feeling fairly unnerved and feeling like I'm being managed out.

Can I get the thoughts of the board on this?

Am I right to feel slightly paranoid?
