    Sheffield Wednesday

The Owls have brought in nine new signings so far this summer, with James Beadle, Ben Hamer, Max Lowe, Yan Valery, Svante Ingelsson, Nathaniel Chalobah, Olaf Kobacki, Jamal Lowe and Charlie McNeill arriving at Hillsborough.

Plus they have a manager who for me was the best manager in the league last season for the miracle he produced.

    Any news on a striker?

Nope. We’re all just waiting for something to happen.

I would never waste a £ on betting on Sheffield Wednesday to get things right.

You’ve more chance of seeing Lord Lucan ride through Harrogate on Shergar.

One of the best “big” clubs for shooting themselves in the foot.

In the 50 odd years I’ve followed football they must be the biggest club with seasons in “Dividion 3” during that period.

They’ll do something to mess up, either by overspending or losing the manager if they go four without a win.
