Going on the pick up/controls layout it looks like a Fender double neck. Bear in mind that these 'turns' have such influence for the manufacturers to knock up special versions for them.

A quick trip back to the mid 80's and probably these are one the the top 5 techno duo's around, far too many tracks to mention but I bet loads on here can relate to them.
