Man City breached a rule relating to ' Kick Off & Re-start Obligations '.
Man City over a period of 2 seasons raked up fines of over £2.09m, for delaying kick-off or the
restart after half-time.
The premier league seasons were 2022/23 & 2023/24
Sometimes delays was as short as 79 seconds, but cost the club £100,000
Premier league rule L.33 relating to kick-off & re-start obligations.
The rule ensures the broadcast of all 380 league matches around the World, is kept to schedule.
