Finally managed to dislodge the massive backlog which was causing me all kinds of discomfort over the last couple of days and I'm feeling absolutely fine now, thank you for asking 😎.
Latest rumour is around our interest in getting the Newcastle midfielder on loan but he is just one of many names speculated about by the press over the summer with few coming to fruition.
Whoever we are going to be able to sign before this transfer window closes, one thing is clear and that is that Carlos is going to have his work cut out trying to get so many new faces playing together with the degree of cohesion the Championship demands in the short time frame available. Talk about having to "learn on the job"!
With Griffith out on loan, signing Wildsmith seems a good move but based on what l've seen of the new lads so far, Diakite looked poor against Blues though Heggem appeared decent. I'm expecting Frabotta to be a good acquisition but still a bit unsure of McNaire despite his experience. Cole? We can only hope!
With just today before we go again, how are others feeling?

I don't think we will have anywhere near the decent season we had last year. Will be happy if we go the whole season where relegation is never on the cards so a mid table finish would be ok for me, then hope that the next season we can push on with a young, fit squad.
Rebuilds going to take time, so mid table would do me, regarding Hayden, not for me, rather have a decent forward, Corberran and previous Albion managers seem to have a fixation with midfielders
Bit like Bomber, happy with mid table for now but that will only be because we have Corberan. If we had a manager not so intense we could be down the bottom end quite quickly I feel. Corberan MAKES things happen, the grass doesn’t grow under his feet thankfully.
Unusually, not overly optimistic. Don’t see us being involved in a relegation battle but upper half would probably exceed expectations. Truly hope that I’m wrong.
I too think that any talk of reaching the play-offs this season is pie in the sky stuff but would be happy to finish in the upper half of the table. I'd be even happier still if we can see the shoots of new growth and a re-build that will hopefully also entail more attacking football and less tippy-tappy stuff!
