MillersMadMatchthread - Exeter v THE MILLERS

    HAPPY NEW SEASON

As we enter our 99th year, we look forward to it being a promotion winning one.

With so many new players with experience should we have the right to expect The Millers to show form from the start ?

It seems that we have assembled not only an experienced squad but, the best looking group of men ever to wear Rotherham United colours so, if we don’t win promotion we’ll sell this lot the Chippendales.

    Enjoy the match everyone!!

    COME ON YOU REDS !!!!

    Morning Frog’n’all!!

Great to be back to this on a Saturday though the 5.30pm (9.30am for me) kick off feels strange.

Will you and Peri be getting together again for a few games/drinks this season?

I have no idea what the score will be or how we will line up.

Just happy that proper football is back.

    Really looking forward to this.

I think he'll start Powell and Kelly in midfield so I'm looking forward to seeing those two. Powell looked really tidy on the ball when he came on against Grimsby and I was impressed with Kelly too in that game. As Steve said "he can put a ball on a toadstool from 60 yards with both feet" 🤣

Hopefully Nombe will find his shooting boots this season and a goal against his former club would be a good place to start.

    Not the line-up I expected:

Phillips, Rafferty, Humphreys, Raggett, McCart, Bramall, Tiehi, Odoffin, Hungbo, Hugill, JCH

    Subs
James, Nombe, Holmes, Dawson, Powell, Osong, MacDonald

13 new players and only 4 start. Guess it's not a bad ratio
