Leeds next week will be tough

    Portsmouth manager:

"Leeds had the better chances and I'm guessing the takeaways [for them are] got to defend a bit better and put the ball in the back of the net. Leeds have some really good athletes, multimillion pound players who may go in the next few weeks. If I'm a Premier League manager I'm definitely snapping up one or two of them after today."

A draw at the home of a side widely tipped to win the league was something for Mousinho to be proud of but he knows it could have been even better. "Very difficult to sum up," he said. "Brilliant point, particularly where we were this time last week after a really poor week of football. The lads gave everything, Leeds know they've been in a game and we are gutted not to win the game. On balance it was a really good point. They're an outstanding side, got some outstanding individuals. To feel we could have won here is an amazing feeling."

Still think Leeds will be one of the strongest contenders for promotion. It will be a good test next week for sure! When is Grady fit again?

A lot harder game than QPR for sure, especially as Leeds will also want to make up for not getting a win on Saturday, but I was very pleasantly surprised by our own performance -both by the more attacking style of football and the commitment shown by all of the players. Tbh, I'd not be too unhappy with a draw with Leeds given their quality but the QPR win will have given us confidence and we have a home advantage so you never know!

Winning Saturday makes the Leeds game a little less stressful. Not having to think about getting that first win under our belts now we may be able to play with a little more freedom and not be too cagey.

Three monkeys off our backs: We scored, First win, First away win.

I thought we'd have a bad start to the season (and we still might).

But that win on Saturday takes the pressure off Leeds now. A draw is a good result.

    When you looked at August's fixtures;
    QPR (a)
    Leeds (h)
    Stoke (a)
    Swansea (h)

I would have been delighted with anything above 6 points from those 4 games. If we were to take 4 points from our first 2 games, considering the transition we're in with the squad would be a fantastic return in my view.

I think Leeds need to be worrying about us.

Up here in Yorkshire media are gobsmacked at their defending.

We have Fellows and Maja absolutely flying and high confidence.

Fk Leeds, I’m sick of hearing how good they are all the time, they’ve sold their best forward FFS.

Half the problem is the respect that teams give them because of the hype. The old Leeds side with Hunter and Bremner showed no respect to anyone and got results. We need to do the same without the ugly tackles.

I think we have a bit of a hex over Leeds. I am not to bothered by them. They have a poor squad compared to last yea but expectations will be high. Get a good start in this league and before you know it you would be expected to be Championship contenders. Leeds will struggle this season.

I thought Burnley looked extremely good last night, nailed on to win the division based on the quality they showed last night.
