The face of LUFC changed when Rutter went. Who’s gonna replace him and give us that buzz when he took the ball on. There was always hope when he had the ball. Pablo was the same. Gray was a joy and Summerville, a greedy self centred player who delivered the goods.

I see flat, boring passing and possession with hardly any pressing. I see Meslier flapping around like a scarecrow. I see Bamford taking over from Joseph because the latter is starved of crosses and general supply. I see a midfield full of the same type of player as Gruev. Hard working but little flair. I see a defence with no confidence unless Struijk can pull it together.
